Solar tracking
system is power generating method from sunlight. Solar tracking device ensures
the optimization of conversion of solar energy into electricity by properly
orienting the photo-voltaic panels in accordance with the real position of the
sun. This paper reveals with the design and execution of a solar tracking
system to be used for photovoltaic panels.
The design is
based on the power requirement of fans and tubes of the mobile laboratory
consisting of physics, chemistry and computer apparatus.
The working of
solar tracking system is based on manually controlled hydraulic direction unit
that is operated with a circuit and further this circuit is controlled by micro
controller circuit. Directional control unit consists of three jacks in
triangular shape are fitted at 120 degree from centre and 60 degree to each
other.
